Our Team
After Stefanie and Peppy took over the WETA MOLAS in 2023, the boat now shines in new splendor, and a passion project has become a reality. Peppy, a native of Flores, is the technician and jack-of-all-trades, and Stefanie, originally from Vienna, is responsible for the European influence.
We are both happy to serve guests in German, English, or Indonesian.

I'm a true Manggarai and have had a close connection to the sea since childhood – whether in a canoe carried by the wind from Reo to Labuan Bajo, or later on my first boat from Lombok to Flores. Today, I passionately steer and care for the Weta Molas.
Stefanie
Owner
I'm originally from Austria and have been familiar with and in love with Flores since 1992. After years of coming and going, I've found my new home here. I interact with guests and contribute my ideas to the interior design. I'm happy to answer questions in German, English, and Indonesian.

I'm from Aimere, a town in eastern Flores known for producing the finest sopi, the local palm liquor. I've been working at sea for many years and love my job and the sea.

I'm Peppy's nephew and, although I have a technical background, my true passion is cooking. In my small galley, I lovingly create delicious dishes. Whether it's Wiener Schnitzel or vegetarian or vegan options—I can fulfill any request.

I´m originally from Lombok. My love for Peppy's sister brought me to Flores, where I now live with my family. Before joining the Weta Molas, I worked on the Lombok-Flores ferry. I'm a multitasker and enjoy working in all kinds of areas.
